Giveaway! And Birthday! Two good things at once!

I just realised that today is this blog’s 1st Birthday! And I’ve also just written my 200th post! What ho!
So, here’s where I get all humble on you…whether we’ve only just met, or whether you’ve been offering me your lovely thoughts, chat and support since the beginning, THANK YOU. I’d like to think that I’d still be here, rambling away into the ether if you hadn’t been cheering me on all this time, but let’s face it, that’s probably not true 
And so to celebrating…a double whammy like this requires something mighty special. My natural inclination is to go for cake, but unless all you lovely readers can find your way to Edinburgh that might be a little bit lonesome for me. No my birthday treat must consist of something I can share with the people who have taken the time to read and comment on my beloved little internet project over the past year.

‘But what free stuff?’ I hear you all shriek. Well, as yet, I’ve got absolutely no idea (is that bad? I’m new at this!). Tentative first thoughts are moving in the direction of tea and charity shop treasures but you never know, it might be something totally different…you’ll have to enter to find out! I can assure you all at this stage that whatever I do end up bestowing upon one lucky reader, it will be both awesome and inkeeping with the tone of the blog. No nasty surprises on the horizon, I promise!
